Privacy
Effective October 6, 2026. This notice describes the information handled when you read Onboarding Optimization or contact the publication.
Reading the site
The site provides public articles without reader accounts, newsletter registration, advertising pixels, or lead-capture forms. Fonts and editorial images are served with the site.
Hosting and analytics
Vercel hosts the site and processes technical request information needed to deliver and secure it. We use Vercel Web Analytics on the production domain to understand page visits and referral patterns. Vercel describes Web Analytics as cookie-free and provides details about its collection and processing in its analytics privacy documentation and privacy policy.
PostHog readership analytics
We use PostHog on the production site to understand which pages people visit, referring websites and campaign tags, article reading progress and time, and clicks to external websites. Analytics also include browser and device information and approximate location. This helps us improve articles and navigation.
PostHog stores a randomly generated anonymous identifier in your browser’s local storage for this domain. Our analytics setup does not set cookies or connect that identifier across our other publication domains. We do not collect form values or email contents in analytics, and session recordings are disabled. See PostHog’s privacy policy for its processing practices.
Email correspondence
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. Our domain addresses use ImprovMX forwarding to the publication’s mailbox. Those services process correspondence to deliver and store it. See ImprovMX’s privacy policy.
We use correspondence to respond, assess editorial ideas, and handle corrections. We retain messages while needed for those purposes and related record keeping; we do not promise a fixed deletion period. Please send only information needed for the question.
Your choices
You can read the guides without contacting us. To ask about access, correction, or deletion of correspondence you supplied, email hello@onboardingoptimization.com. We may need enough information to identify the relevant correspondence and verify the request.
External websites and changes
Linked sources and services have their own practices. This notice applies to Onboarding Optimization. We will update this page when the publication’s setup or handling changes materially.
